What is network marketing and what isn’t network marketing?

Well, let’s first discuss what network marketing is not. For one it is not a pyramid scheme. A lot of people feel like when they are approached by friends, colleagues, family etc, they are being presented an opportunity that seems to be “too good to be true”. Let’s back track and explain the difference between a pyramid scheme and network marketing. A pyramid scheme is an illegal non-sustainable business model that involves promising participant’s payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Network marketing is a legitimate business based on real products that the company is asking for a fair price. Now some network marketing businesses have start up fees that are sometimes too expensive and that can deter people from joining or then again it may just depend on how an individual views the opportunity.

Are Network Marketing programs “Get Rich Quick schemes”?

To answer this question would be fair to say that the answer is NO in relation to network marketing. Now you will have individuals who will make money quickly. There are several reasons for that which are people may have a good following, they are consistent and persistent, they want to help others, etc. So to say that people who achieve success in this particular industry is not completely true.  It is all about the individual’s determination. Network marketing is a serious business for serious people. It's a proven system where the design, creation and expense the corporate team has gone through becomes a road map for your own success. Just follow the simple, proven and duplicable system that the network marketing companies provide and you should be good.

How can Network Marketing be beneficial to YOU?

The real key to all of this is network marketing is all about leverage. You can leverage your time and increase the number of hours of work you want to do and you can be paid by sponsoring other people and earning a small income on their efforts. Then that repeated process becomes residual income. Residual income is money that you can make easily without much effort for months and years. People learn how to network market on social media sites. Networking marketing can allow people to become financially stable in addition to possibly other incomes you may have. Most successful people building a network marketing business do so in an organized method. They chose to work a few dedicated hours each week, with each hour of effort serving as a building block for their long-term business growth. Then they sponsor other people and teach those people how to sell the company product and sponsor others who duplicate the process. By helping the people you personally sponsor to sponsor others, you duplicate yourself and duplication also another key to network marketing success. Once you continue to duplicate the same process over and over, you then draw between hundreds and thousands into your business or businesses. Also another good idea to see this type of success wants to share and help others. When your mindset is totally focused on self it will be hard for you to really gain the concept of what “network” marketing is about.
